blue and blue and blue 97-99 by Darren C. Demaree

blue and blue and blue #97

if i wanted
& then,
the ocean

blue and blue and blue #98

the earshot,
as in
within

earshot
& it all sounds,
even

the discussion
of the sound,
so violent

& so,
i speak
in whispers

& i gamble
with what
the wind

wants
to share with
other wind

blue and blue and blue #99

& my art will be
as a naked man
shoulder deep

in the ocean
& my art will be
losing the name

i was given
by parents
that wanted most

for me to do
grand things
with a name

& my art will be
vanishing amidst
the all-energy,

shoving it along
with a song
forgotten

azul y azul y azul #97

si yo quisiera
& luego
el océano

azul y azul y azul #98

el alcance del oído,
como
desde adentro

el alcance del oído
& todo suena
incluso

la discusión
del sonido,
tan violenta

& así,
yo hablo
en suspiros

& apuesto
con lo que
el viento

quiere
compartir
con otro viento

azul y azul y azul #99

& mi arte será
como un hombre desnudo
hasta los hombros

en el océano
& mi arte estará
perdiendo el nombre

que fue me dado
por mis padres
que querían más

para mí que hiciera
grandes cosas
con un nombre

& mi arte
desaparecerá
con toda la energía

paleándolo al lado
con una canción
olvidada
